We typically avoid places in New Orleans that allude to anything Cajun, but we decided to give Cochon a try and were quite surprised. The menu is more southern ‘comfort food’ than traditional Cajun, but the dishes they prepare are delicious and filling. The portions were perfect, leaving us sated and ready to do more sightseeing. The a la carte sides were big enough for the two of us to share. Be sure to try the grits! The service is great and the staff is well informed about menu items. Our server was a great help with making our selections.
